(( Karl sighed as he watched his friend depart. Shielding his eyes against the sun, he watched as Arma became little more than a black speck in the sky. The signs started 2 weeks ago- he noticed the bird’s slight shivers as she perched on his head which escalated in disjointed movements and shaking much too soon. It was time for Karl to say goodbye to the little concrete bird.
Oh, she would make it back to the park but Karl was left to rediscover loneliness as he continued his search…))
